Ashwin six-for puts India in charge

A six wicket haul by Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has helped team India gain an upper hand on the first day of the first Test match with Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka, who won the toss and decided to bat first, were bowled out for 183. India in reply have managed to score 128 with loss of two tickets. Indians were 28-2 before they recovered to post 128 without further loss by stumps at the Galle International Stadium.
