India subdue Spain 2-0 to level three-match hockey series

The Indian men’s hockey team produced a much improved performance as they claimed a convincing 2-0 win over Spain to level the three-match series 1-1 in the second game at Sant Cugat del Valles on Wednesday. Ramandeep Singh put India ahead in the second quarter before he provided a well-worked pass to Akashdeep Singh, who then netted the second goal proficiently in the 33rd minute. India will play their third and decisive match against Spain on August 13 at Terrassa.
