Singers Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj recently indulged in a Twitter war after Minaj complained about her video 'Anaconda' not getting a nomination at MTV awards.
"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year," Minaj tweeted indirectly referring to Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' video.
To which Taylor Swift wrote, "@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."
Later Nicki Minaj tweeted in response and said that she wasn't calling out Taylor Swift but asking for her support.
"black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it," she further wrote.
