Coldplay frontman Chris Martin surprised and pleased everyone present at the Summer House Café in Delhi's Hauz Khas Village when he got up randomly and went on stage to perform.
The Coldplay frontman alongwith Slumdog Millionaire actor Freida Pinto are travelling in India with The Global Poverty Project, an NGO that works in the area of poverty alleviation. Chris and Freida are key supporters of the organisation.
Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani, who went on stage with Martin, explained the jam session on Twitter: "It wasn't an event. We were at a dinner together, and he just went - let's go play somewhere! And, boom!
He added, "More jam, less gig. Chris did all the work, though. People were going apeshit."
Actor Frieda Pinto, musician Raghu Dixit and members of YouTube comedy channel AIB were also present at the cafe.
