Ben Affleck might co-write and direct a new 'Batman' film

According to recent reports, Ben Affleck is all set to star as well as direct a solo Batman movie. Its also being said that Affleck will co-write the screenplay with DC Comics chief creative officer Geoff Johns on the standalone Batman movie, which will be the first of its kind since 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. Johns has written Batman, Superman and Green Lantern comics among other titles for DC. The actor is currently busy promoting the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in which he will make his debut as the Caped Crusader next year. The actor will start directing Batman movie once he finishes his forthcoming adaptation of the Denis Lehane crime novel Live by Night, which is due to shoot in November.
