Jennifer Lawrence to star in film adaptation of The Rosie Project

Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence has been roped in to play female lead in the big screen adaptation of The Rosie Project. The Rosie Project is written by Graeme Simsion. The novel is the story of a socially awkward genetics professor, Don Tillman, who devises a questionnaire to find the perfect mate and then meets Rosie, a bartender who matches none of his criteria. Both the makers have finalized the female lead, the film is still seeking its male lead and a director after Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (of The Lego Movie) left to work on the young Han Solo Star Wars spin-off.
