There’s going to be an LGBT superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Even though Marvel comics introduced a LGBT character earlier this year when Iceman came out as gay, Marvel cinematic universe is yet to do the same. When Marvel president Kevin Feige was interviewed by editor-in-chief Steve Weintraub of website Collider, Feige all but confirmed plans for an LGBT character to appear, saying it was likely within the next decade. ‘I would think so, for sure,’ he said. But did add that in the grand scheme of things we might still have a few years to wait. ‘In the drawing board going up to 2019 it remains to be seen,’ Feige explained.
