Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar said that he wants his films to convey a message to the society apart from entertaining people.
"Other than entertainment, good music and action, when the audiences go home, they should also take something back home. It is essential just like a return gift which we should all receive in a party. Our responsibility is definitely towards entertainment, but also to some extent towards the subject," said Farhan.
Farhan Akhtar's upcoming production 'Bangistan' spreads the message of peace and harmony through a satire on terrorism.
The movie directed Karan Anshuman by stars Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat and Chandan Roy Sanyal in lead roles.
The movie will release this Friday.
