According to latest reports, actor Farhan Akhtar will replace Fawad Khan in Battle for Bittora.
Reah Kapoor, who is producing the film, has shortlisted Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Bachchan to take up the lead role in her film after Fawad Khan's exit.
Reah's sister Sonam Kapoor will essay a politician role in the movie.
The film is based on Anuja Chauhan's book by the same name.
Produced under the banner of Anil Kapoor's film, the movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
