Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is gearing up for the release of Katti Batti, said that she is glad that Salman Khan suggested her name for the film.
"After Queen, I was flooded with women-centric scripts and naturally my interest would have been in movies wherein my role has importance. I wouldn't have given a thought to Katti Batti. I trust Salman and his instincts so when he called up and insisted me on at least hearing the story, I had to give it a try. When I did hear the story, I didn't take even a second to say yes. It's an amazing script," the actress said.
Katti Batti is a romantic comedy also starring Imran Khan.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, Katti Batti is scheduled to release on September 18.
